The NHF Charity Gala, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the NHF and the 500th child
to benefit from a holiday, will take place on the 7th September at Peterborough Arena,
Peterborough.

The NHF helps to brighten up the lives of severely ill or disabled children whose
need for medical care prevents them going far from home.
The NHF organises holidays in Orlando, Florida for groups of children, accompanied
by suitably qualified medical staff and carers, whilst giving the parents a well-deserved
respite. As one child said, “The NHF has given me hope, the strength and courage
to keep going and a reason to smile”.
The Doctors, nurses, paramedics and carers, who accompany the children do so in their
own time and without payment. Parents are not asked to contribute to the holidays.

what can i say, words cannot thank all you enough for giving Claire the holiday of
a life time, one she will never forget, i cannot believe at Christmas time i was
told Claire wasn’t allowed to fly ever again, due to great deteriation in her illness/lung
condition, but hospital staff agreed to this last holiday abroad only because nurses
and doctors were going,you gave her one last holiday abroad she will never forget,
and for that i cannot thank the national holiday fund and all people involved enough,
Claire has spoken non stop about her experience, a big big big thank you from Claire
and myself xxxx
Thank you to everyone involved in making these holidays’ possible and creating wonderful
memories for the children to hold I cannot thank you enough for your generosity and
kindness. You have given Em the holiday of a lifetime thank you for the wonderful
gift of an amazing Holiday and treasured memories you have given my daughter on behalf
of Emily J and all that know and love her a great big thank you and best wishes you
are amazing people
Massive heartfelt thanks to all the helpers both in the UK and USA and the wonderful
children who have been à joy to be around for the last two weeks. You are all very
special people and I will miss you all lots, much love and fond memories cxx
